About
Peace, Regardless

“If you really want to escape the things that harass you, what you’re needing is not to be in a different place but to be a different person.”
– Seneca

Hi! I’m Julie.

Therapist, educator, fellow human.

I am passionate about addressing trauma to bring healing and helping others become better partners and parents through intimacy training, skill building, somatic scenes, and therapy.

I love fountain pens, feathers, good heavy paper, and mentoring others.

I endeavor to create a warm and supportive space where clients can grow and experience internal shifts at their own pace without shame or judgment.
I enjoy working with individuals who are seeking to increase emotional intelligence, strengthen their relationships, and set life goals.

I am also specially trained to treat clients that are grappling with values-incongruent compulsive sexual behavior, unwanted desires, a history of trauma and addictions.

In Texas, I am Licensed Professional Counselor Associate Lic# 91810, supervised by Caron Palmer, LPC-S 74687 In Florida I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern,Lic # IMH24329 -Supervised by Rebecca Maxwell, LMHC-S: MT3283

Together, we explore past traumas and begin to integrate all of the parts so that clients can experience feelings of wholeness and peace, regardless of their past lived experiences.

Tailoring our work together to the unique needs of every client is imperative. I blend talk therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Task Model work, mindfulness, the use of VR, exercise and somatic interventions and I work hard to stay abreast of emerging neuroscience research.

“The part can never be well unless the whole is well.”
